Aberlady Wildflower Walk – cancelled.

Unfortunately, in view of the ongoing situation with Covid-19 and to ensure that we are following the current safety advice, we have decided to cancel this trip.
A day at Aberlady Bay, which is a Site of Special Scientific Interest for plants as well as birds. Led by Stan da Prato, who knows the local flora and fauna well. We’ll see a variety of coastal flowers, aiming particularly for five species of orchids. Depending upon weather we hope to see butterflies as well.
Meet at the small car park or the 124 bus will stop by request. It will be easy level walking on a dry path. The walk will start at 10am and finish at approximately 3pm. Please bring lunch and refreshments. We’ll stop for lunch during the walk, so something to sit on will be ideal. This trip may be booked in advance or paid on the day.
Cost is £5 per person. A booking form an be downloaded here. This form covers all of the day trips and visits in the Caley summer programme.

- Day outings may be cancelled if numbers are too low. Refunds for bookings cancelled by members will be based on the financial commitment already incurred by the Caley.
