Redcroft Open Garden – cancelled.

THIS OPEN DAY HAS NOW BEEN CANCELLED. SCOTLAND’S GARDEN SCHEME HAS CANCELLED ALL OPEN GARDEN EVENTS FOR THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE.
Caley members Anna and James Buxton are again opening their garden as part of Scotland’s Garden Scheme. As last year, money raised will go to the Caley Greenhouse at Saughton, so do go along and support Anna and James and help with fund raising for the greenhouse. Many members will know that the garden in May is at its most colourful with rhododendrons and other flowering shrubs and trees, and tulips in pots and many other spring flowers. There will be tea and a very good plant sale organised by Caley members Caroline Pearson and Vicki Reid-Thomas. Children are very welcome and there be will be activities for them and a new tree house – although it is not for the very young.
The address is Redcroft, 23 Murrayfield Road, Edinburgh, EH12 6EP. There is easy, free parking nearby. For buses 12, 26, 31, get off at Murrayfield Stadium or bus 38 which goes down Murrayfield Road. Entry is £5, children free. The garden will also be open by arrangement from 1st September to 31st October. More details from SGS website.
Admission is £5 per person payable on the day. (Children are free).
