Fife communities have teamed up with counterparts from the other end of the UK in order to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Royal Horticultural Society’s ‘Britain in Bloom’ campaign.Bayleaf the Gardener

Community representatives from Kinghorn, St Monans and Falkland have travelled to The Chelsea Flower Show to work with South West in Bloom, building and manning a floral display which will be designed to include both a grow-your-own and seaside area.

The display acknowledges the success of Fife Council’s Beautiful Fife campaign which encourages communities to participate in horticultural and environmental improvements.

Features within the display include the famous St Monans wellies and the equally famous Falkland farm cart will also have a place within the display.

The Fife Garden is in no way out of place in the Grand Pavilion at Chelsea when it has pleased its public here for the week it will be dismantled and transported to Gardening Scotland. I look forward to seeing it there.
Well done to all concerned you have done The Kingdom proud.
