Spring flower show
The Caley holds an annual Spring Show that is open to all. This is a fun event with a variety of categories to enter. So, if you are an experienced exhibitor, are just starting out in your competition career or simply want to look at some beautiful blooms, join us for an interesting weekend. We also hold an annual Schools’ Competition and children’s activities.
About the show
The Caley Spring Show is a fun event that is open to all, from the novice to the more experienced, with a range of categories to enter. Whilst daffodils, tulips and hyacinth do feature prominently, there are many other opportunities to enter, including floral art and houseplants. Don’t worry if you have never shown before, we are always happy to help, and it is great fun! Members of the Caley can help support the show in different ways. If you don’t want to enter the show, why not visit the show or spend a couple of hours volunteering? The Caley is fortunate to have the support of specialist daffodil growers Quality Daffodils (R A Scamp) in Cornwall and Esker Farm Daffodils from Northern Ireland, both of whom sponsor a special class in the schedule.
Jim Davidson trophy
The Caley Spring Show forms part of the Jim Davidson Trophy. This competition commemorates the late Jim Davidson from Banff. - RCHS (Caley), Edinburgh 31st March – 1st April
