Beautiful Scotland judging starts today!
From Monday 30 July to Friday 10 August teams of judges will be assessing the 49 towns and villages that have entered this year’s competition. Communities are placed in categories according to size, from wee villages to the largest cities. In all there are thirteen categories to be judged. Awards are similar to those presented at major flower shows i.e. bronze, silver, silver-gilt and gold.
At the same time, five additional groups who won their categories in 2017 will represent Scotland in the UK finals.
To see who is taking part and read about their entries go to the Beautiful Scotland website.
Why not get out there and see what’s being done to make your local community a nicer placer to live.
