Christmas Evening

We hope as many of you as possible will be able to attend our Christmas get together. It is a great time to catch up with folk you haven’t seen for a while or even to meet them for the first time!

Stan will be presenting a slideshow of some of our shows from the past year – always useful if you want to pick up a few winning tips. After that it is on to the main event – the Christmas Quiz hosted by our resident quizmaster, Stan da Prato. With questions aimed at getting your horticultural mind turning, this lighthearted quiz is always great fun. You can enter as an individual or in teams of two, so grab a friend and come along.

Pam will also have Poinsettias and Cyclamen for sale.  These are quality plants, much better than you will find at the supermarket, so come along and pick up a little bit of christmas cheer.

This season our talks will take place in-person only as we do not have the facility to live-stream them.  Where possible, we will record the talks and the recording will be made available on the members’ page of the website as soon after the talk as possible.

The talks will take place in the Lecture Theatre at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh. All talks will begin at 7.30pm. Our talks are free and are open to non-members.  All we ask is that you make a small donation at the door or perhaps buy a raffle ticket if you can.  For those who have not attended a lecture at RBGE before, entry is via the main reception: 20a Inverleith Row, Edinburgh, EH3 5LR (not far from the East Gate).
