Sunday 4th August – Wildflower Walk & Talk with Fiona Guest from Scotia Seeds

Join us for this walk & talk from Fiona Guest of Scotia Seeds who has 30 years experience  in working with wildflowers.  You might be interested to know that seed from Scotia Seeds have been used in the wild orchard at Saughton Park, so pop along and see how it looks.

Please meet at the McHattie Room for an 11am start. We will then head down to the wild orchard and surrounding areas for a look at what is in flower. If you have any questions about planting a wildflower area, now is the time to get them answered.

Please note: as this is an outdoor event, please dress appropriately for the weather conditions.  The wild orchard is a naturalised area and there may be nettles, so long trousers are recommended.
