“Stars of the Celestial Mountains: the floral highlights of the Tien Shan” – Frazer Henderson
4th February, 2025 @ 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm
A pictorial celebration of the flora of the Tien Shan mountain range of Central Asia focussing on three distinct areas: the high alpine plants of the Song Kul plateau in Kyrgyzstan; the upland flower meadows of the stunningly beautiful Sary Chalek National Park in Kyrgyzstan; and the floral endemics of the Chimgan mountains in Uzbekistan.
Frazer Henderson is an active member of a number of horticultural and botanical societies, including the Scottish Rock Garden Club, the Alpine Garden Society, the Sedum Society, Botanical Society of Britain & Ireland, Plant Heritage and the Wakefield & North of England Tulip Society.
