Summer Fair at Saughton

This is part of our Saughton Sunday offering. (Please note the change of date for this particular Saughton Sunday).

We have a weekend of activities planned.

• We will be unveiling the Caley Show Garden in the Caley Demonstration Area at Saughton Park. Designed by one of the Caley’s student members, Kristyna Andrlova, as part of her Garden Design course at SRUC, the garden’s theme is reuse, recycle and use local.  The design looks great and we are looking forward to seeing it built.  Kristyna and her team of helpers will be building the garden for around three weeks before the 11th of June so, if you a regular visitor to the park, you will be able to see the garden take shape. Kristyna will be on hand over the weekend to answer any questions you may have about the garden, 10am – 4pm.
• Cacti & Succulent Display – pop into the McHattie Room to see a display of lovely plants.  Entry is free.  If you would like to enter a plant into the display, you can find out how here. If there is sufficient interest in this activity, we will run a proper show next time around.
• We are planning some other activities over the weekend. We will let you know when they have been finalised.
