Workshop – Growing under cover (early seed sowing)

Growing under cover: Part of ‘Growing Veg in Scotland’ workshops.
This practical workshop will see participants sowing early vegetable seeds, looking at and using suitable composts. How and when to sow utilising different containers and sowing techniques. Storage of seeds once the packet has been opened. Seedling aftercare to prepare for planting in the open ground. Very early seed sowing, pricking out and potting on.
This practical workshop will take place in the Caley Glasshouse at Saughton Park.
