What’s On

A core charitable aim of the Society is to advance education in gardening and horticulture for the public benefit. We seek to achieve this in a number of different ways, through lectures, workshops, sharing learning, providing advice, information and practical demonstrations.

Talks and Lectures

The Caley offers an exciting programme of talks, over the winter months from October to March. Whatever your horticultural interests are, there will be something to interest you.  We do hope that you will join us.

Workshops & Dig Days

We currently run a variety of workshops, covering all aspects of horticulture.  Most of our workshops take place at our base within Saughton Park in Edinburgh but we also have pruning workshops at our demonstration allotment, also in Edinburgh.
