Face to face workshops running from (9.30am – 12.30pm) on Saturdays at Saughton Park, or Bridgend Allotments -as indicated.

February 22nd – Growing Under Cover (early seed sowing) – Saughton Park
March 8th – Pest & Diseases – and all the nasties – Saughton Park
March 29th – Growing Fruit and Veg in containers – Saughton Park
March 26th – Growing Protected Crops (Tomatoes, Aubergines) – Saughton Park
May – Maintenance – the plot progresses – Caley Allotment (Bridgend)
June 22nd – Preparing crops for the show bench – Caley Allotment (Bridgend)
August 23rd – Harvesting and Storage – Saughton Park

Each session costs £30 for non-members. £25 for Caley members

Hardwood cuttings – Practical Workshop at Saughton Park
December 1st 2024 from 10.00am till 11.30am.
A hands on practical session showing how to select the correct cutting material, take the cuttings and the aftercare.
The session will centre around the propagation of soft fruit so will be of particular interest to people wanting to establish a small collection of soft fruit bushes.
Even if you do not want to propagate soft fruit the principles will be the same for any compatible ornamental trees and shrubs
Cost for this workshop is: £15 for non-Caley members or £12 for Caley members
