Bulb Workshop – 6th October 2019

The Full workshop will be held at Saughton Park at 2pm on 6th October. The cost is £28. For this, participants will pot up 6 pots of bulbs: 4 daffodils, 1 hyacinth and 1 tulip varieties.

Please note: We make absolutely no profit on the workshop as we want to encourage participants to show their blooms at the Spring Show. The cost covers the cost of materials only.

The dry springs of the past two years have been challenging for specialist daffodil growers and asking for 100 of each variety has been a difficult ask, so we have opted for a greater variety but with smaller numbers of each.

We have 10 sets for all varieties in Divisions 1,2,3, and 4 and 4 sets each of divisions 5,6, and 11a.  This means it is important you let me know your preference as soon as possible.  You can download a sheet here that has images of all the blooms to help you make your choice. We hope to hold the workshop in the courtyard area at Saughton Park (if it is open by then), but if all else fails we will do the potting in the conservatory.
