Dreich and damp but some colour

Saturday was a dreich damp day after a night of heavy rain. But some of the Pulmonarias are starting to show colour.
The Caley bulbs are looking good and the Hyacinths are colouring up well. The Daffs are all starting to show buds and given some warmer weather they could all be in bloom within the next two to three weeks.  I have them sitting in the lee of the glasshouse in a bit of shade in order to keep them back a little because if you look carefully there are some buds showing colour and some almost at gooseneck stage.

Progress from here on in is very much weather dependent. It is a shame that I am looking for a cool dull spell.
Never satisfied.
