On Wednesday Gifford Hort Soc hosted the annual competition between themselves, Dalkeith, Pathhead, Penicuik and Musselburgh.  Musselburgh won this time so as quizmaster I handed over the  salver then we all adjourned  to enjoy  the excellent  spread put on by the hosts.
