Safe and snug from Doris

Storm Doris did its best to disrupt travel and comfort on Thursday, but in the cold glasshouse the pots of bulbs are snug and well protected. Many of them are showing flower buds now.

I brought The Caley workshop bulbs into the shelter when I heard the storm was about to strike and they look relatively unfazed and comfortable.

They are all coming along nicely, the tulips are starting to push up their buds and the Hyacinths are starting to show some colour.

It is only 6 weeks to The Show but no need to panic yet.
Plenty time for that later.
