Could you be our next Trustee?
The Caley is currently looking for two new Trustees to sit on the Caley Council. Caley Council members are all volunteers who share an interest in horticulture and gardening in Scotland. They have overall responsibility for controlling and managing the charity.
What we are looking for:
We welcome interest from anyone who has an interest in gardening and horticulture in Scotland.
We welcome people with professional, amateur or general interests.
We would particularly welcome interest from a trustee with experience in fundraising or communications/publications, but if you don’t have those particular skills, don’t let that put you off from applying.
Expectations of a Caley Trustee:
- Collective oversight of the affairs and activities of The Caley ensuring they are in line with agreed vision, legal and constitutional requirements.
- Assist with operational matters where input, or specialist skills are helpful.
- Be prepared to participate and represent The Caley at events.
- Meetings are held, either in person or virtually, approximately 6 times a year.
If you are interested in becoming a Trustee of the Society, please complete the note of interest form and send it to the Caley Administrator: administrator@rchs.co.uk
