Dundee Flower and Food Festival 2018, in partnership with Keep Scotland Beautiful and MVV Environment Baldovie, is promoting a competition to create the most exciting and unusual pocket garden design, using plants that can be eaten, attract wildlife and celebrates 30 years of the Festival in Camperdown Park.

Prizes and Funding

 All finalists will be entitled to Two 1-day tickets for the Dundee Flower & Food Festival (31 August – 2nd September 2018)

 Each finalist group (max 12) will be able to claim a set up grant of £100 towards materials and/or travel expenses

 The best One Planet Picnic themed garden will receive a prize of £300

 The best Wildlife themed garden will receive a prize of £300

 The best Dundee Flower & Food Festival 30th Anniversary themed garden will receive a prize of £300

 The nine finalists who are runners up will be awarded a £50 prize for the purchase of seeds, tools, etc., for their groups’ environment project

Deadline to apply is 20 July. Entries are invited from all organisations, including schools, nurseries, horticultural societies, friends’ groups, It’s Your Neighbourhood and Beautiful Scotland groups, allotments and community allotment groups, etc.
