Halloween and Apple Day at Saughton Park

A fun-filled afternoon for all the family, so come along and have some not-so-scary Halloween fun.  The event will run from 1pm to 5pm.  This is a joint event with the Friends of Saughton Park.

Activities will include:

• Apple tasting and identification
• Workshops to plant bulbs to flower at home for Christmas or to give as presents.
• Live music
• Teddy Bear hunt
• Spooky Tales
• Pumpkin and Turnip carving competition (with prizes)
• Pop-up Cafe

We have also noticed that some of the tulips potted and plunged as part of the Caley Bulb Workshop in the past have not been easy to prepare for the show, so we will be offering workshop participants the option to pot and plunge their tulips at this event.
