February means I have Caley Spring Bulb show in mind

 In Bulb growing, Spring Show

Hopefully my daffodils, tulips, hyacinths  and other Spring bulbs for The Caley Spring Bulb Show are progressing well, with just a few more days until my pots get lifted on the weekend of the 14th/15th.  This will be when the challenge of getting things in flower for the show really starts!

But with 8 weeks to go until the show on the 4th and 5th April, it is the time to pot my Amaryllis bulb.  Amaryllis only take between 6 and 8 weeks to flower from potting, so today was my annual Amaryllis potting day!

All the details are on the website Spring Bulb Show page, including the schedule and entry form.  But you will also find the Young Gardener schedule, a list of miniatures, as well as the dates of some of the other Spring Shows forming  The Jim Davidson Trophy group.

This year we are hoping to hold a new bookable workshop – making stunning paper Daffodils.  You can follow this link to book a place!
