Pam’s Award Presented – at last!

We recently managed to present our final award for 2021.  Honorary Vice-President Pam Whittle was awarded the Caley Award at our ceremony back in March but it took a long time to get the award sorted due to lockdowns, restrictions and various other Covid-related issues.

We had finally settled on presenting Pam with her award at the first talk in our Winter Lecture series but, as you will know, we had to move our talks online again this year so we had to change our plans  We took the opportunity to give her the award at the Saughton Sunday event at the beginning of October and, thankfully, it all went smoothly.  We even managed to keep it a secret from Pam (not an easy thing to do).

Caley President, Colin Ainsworth, presented the award and there were a good number of Caley folk about to cheer.
