Plants for Free – practical workshop on hardwood cuttings

 In Blog, Saughton Sunday, Workshops

This workshop is part of our next Saughton Sunday event on 3rd November 2019.

“Plants for Free – Hardwood Cuttings” – a practical workshop led by Colin Ainsworth. We are offering two time slots for this workshop – 11am and 2pm.  Places must be booked. Please let Julie know what time slot you prefer when making your booking. Places for the workshop are strictly limited to 6 people to give everyone room to work and time to ask lots of questions. The cost for this workshop is £10 per person.  If you are interested, please register with Julie at administrator@rchs.co.uk. Please note: the 11am slot is now full.

We are also hosting a couple of drop-in activities:

  1. Advice from the Scottish Orchid Society. Drop in session.  If you need any advice about your orchids – how to get them to flower again, how often to water them, where is the best place to keep them – come along and ask the experts. You will find them in the Winter Garden.
  2. Stick Dressing – the Lammermuir Stick Dressers will demonstrate and display the art of creating walking sticks. This activity will take place in the Conservatory.
