Study Tour day 3
The first visit of the day was to Iford Manor. This garden is simply stunning and no amount of pictures would do it justice. Whilst the house and estate has a long history the garden, which sits on a very steep bank, was designed by Harold Peto who lived there from 1899 to 1933. A truly stunning garden (even if you do not like Italian style architecture and statuary.
The afternoon was extremely hot but we still managed to visit two more gardens – pictures coming soon.
