The last work day in 2018 on the allotment

Last Thursday was dull day for the last work day of the year on the Caley allotment.

The energetic ones started work on digging up a section of grass path to allow the widest raised bed to be made into two narrower ones. We also checked over the stored apples and potatoes for rot and put out the smallest apples for the birds, checked all the netting was secure and had a picking of sprouts and kale for Christmas.

Then it was time for a Christmas feast in the Bridgend Farmhouse.
