Holyrood Park Wildflower Walk – Sunday 11th July 2021
Unfortunately, this event has been cancelled
A summer morning wildflower walk at Holyrood Park, led by Stan da Prato. It’s a gentle walk into the main grassland at Hunters Bog. Our main target will be the rare adder’s tongue fern, but there will be lots else to see as Holyrood Park has a wide range of other plants including rock rose, maiden pink and sticky catchfly.
The walk starts at 9am. Meet in the large car park by the palace.
Maximum 12 attendees, but if we get lots of interest we may organise another walk (date to be determined).
This event is open to Caley members only in the first instance. All places must be pre-booked and the £5.00 charge must be paid in advance so that the event can be as Covid-friendly as possible. Places can be booked and payment made on the “Events” page of the website.
Please note: this is an outdoor event – appropriate clothing and footwear should be worn.
