The last Thursday in October on the allotment

Thursday – a cloudy morning but breaking into warm sunshine after lunch. The felt on the hut roof was finally repaired so all is well for the winter.
The netting was taken off the strawberries to allow the birds in to forage for insect pests but the rabbits have been enjoying sitting on the weed-suppressing matting so back on with the netting.
