A pleasant day on the Allotment.
On Thursday, we particularly enjoyed the usual mid-February warm spell and it was satisfying to get the first planting done. Ian had sown broadbeans in mid-December, so it was time to get the young plants in the ground. The variety is Sutton which doesn’t grow quite as tall so should stand up better to the wind.
