Chilly day on the Allotment

Last day of the month and a brilliantly sunny one but it was bitterly cold. We paid a short visit to check all was well and the netting still doing what is should in keeping the pigeons off the brassicas. The only job that needed doing was repair work on the willow/hazel windbreak but on days like this you need to keep moving to keep warm, so we left that for another day.
