Tips from George on bulb planting for the Spring Show

As many of you know George and I are keen daffodil growers and are always encouraging people to take part in the Caley bulb planting workshop.  As we couldn’t hold a workshop this year we filmed George potting his workshop bulbs.   You can watch the video here.

There is still time to plant bulbs so why not have a go.

(Do not worry if you cannot plunge (bury) your pots, or cover with sand as in the film, just plant your bulbs a little lower in the compost and cover them. I have used other things when I have run out of plunge space.  (Black weed suppressant fabric, straw, leaves.)
