Windy & chilly on the Allotment
Thursday was a day which started with sleet on the ground then turned into one of brilliant sunshine but so cold with a strong wind blowing. So all we did was a quick visit to check all was well and the netting still in place. The autumn-planted onions and garlic were weeded, and the rooted strawberry runners and some cowslips potted up for Sunday’s pruning workshop.

Then we retreated to the warmth and coffee in the Bridgend Farmhouse cafe which is now open again.
