A weekend update from George

Saw my first Peacock Butterfly of the season today (Saturday)  basking in the bright sunshine.  A day of wall to wall sunshine with just a hint of frost in the morning.

Another first for the season was the opening of the automatic vents on the glasshouse and that was even with the door and side vents open.

 
The sunshine has caused the daffodils to rush to bloom even those in the shade of the glasshouse.

Meanwhile the Hyacinths are due for a move to the deeper shade of the north side of the house

 
Will they. Hold on for another 2 weeksI am not sure

I told you it is never easy but at least the Butterfly was happy.
