It isn’t too late to prune your apples

Many of us are catching up with tasks in the garden as it is not long since the snow was with us, even George in sunny Joppa had a some snow.

The Caley regularly hosts winter fruit pruning sessions on the Caley allotment at Bridgend but sadly this was not possible this year.  But at our home patch, Saughton Park, there are lots of young apple trees that needed pruning so George has kindly filmed a very helpful pruning session.

It doesn’t matter if your plant is old or new – there are tips here for everyone with an apple tree.
